In college it was my dream to finally become a runner. I was totally and completely out of shape and overweight, but I put in a lot of months of conditioning and doing as much as I could on the track or treadmill before 'dying.' I finally got up to running 6 miles a day and then like 99% of my family before me, my knees gave out on me and that was it. No more running for me. I'd rather be able to use what's left of my knees for the rest of my life rather than try and keep running. The end.

Oh, that was the good part. I dropped 45 lbs and was the fittest I'd ever been in my adult life. My resting pulse was at like 63, it was awesome.

I kept that weight off for 2 years, but it was really hard to maintain that level of diet/exericise and such a small size for me, but now years later, I'm on a healthier course which is so much more realistic and manageable for me that I've come to love exercise again.

on the treadmill, 4 days ago. i ran an hour on a 160-170 heart rate.
just normally around the block or whatever? i haven't done that in awhile. i might drop some more weight so i dont feel too self conscious when i get out there again.

thanks =] i've been running for ages now so i can usually do it. needless to say I'm dead by the end though lol.
on the days I'm not as determined, ill do say, 15mins at 140ish, then slowly keep upping the level every 15 mins.

Never. Running is not and never was my preferred form of cardio. I can not stand it. I prefer jumping rope or circuit training.

yeah i'm addicted to running. i run at least 30 minutes a day. I was just curious how many people were the same. I've recently realized a lot of people don't even work out. its crazy.
