Do men know when women are menstruating?

Obviously a boyfriend or husband would know when their woman is on her period. However I am talking about men along the street who would not know. I seem to (possibly just coincidental) get a lot of attention when I am menstruating. Men seem to look at me more/engage in conversation?

Yes there are a few ways that I notice and find women more attractive during their periods. there's a slight scent or you could notice baggier clothes and scented tampons are a dead give away. To me the smell is not unpleasant. I think pheremones cause the attraction.

likely, the behaviour you described is caused by pheromones~ by definition:

That doesn't make sense though. Women are at their least attractive (in terms of pheromones) during menstruation.

@LaVilaine women are most attractive during menstruation. Everytime i have dated a woman it seems they were on their period when I approached them.

Most guys subconsciously can smell your pheromones, your body is putting out a strong vibe.

You might have other changes too, like your voice, skin maybe body language.
