Beginner gym guy?

Yea so I might go to the gym, but I don't know what to start. I just want to get stronger like armwise. I've been doing pushups every two days for the last 9 months so maybe it's time to kick it up a level.

I also don't want to ask for help at the gym because I feel weak for doing it, so I rather ask for it on here so no one will know.
