YES! Every Friday, I wake up WANTING to go to the gym...
If you don't rest your body, it *will* exhaust your body and make you sick. -Did that when I first started. Went about a month without a rest day. Slept from Friday night to Saturday afternoon.-
On that "off" day, you can do some gentle stretches to make yourself feel better.
Or a "beginner" version of Yoga. Nothing advanced, just gentle stretching.

6 days a week is already a lot. If you don't have the correct mix of exercises every day, you will destroy your body instead of building it. Muscles need at least 24 h (but better more) to recover from a training. So I would not care about that one rest day, but on the other hand check your program and see that you don't train the same muscle group every day.
I'm literally raping my muscles 6 days a week so my body is like begging for one rest day by that time. You guys realize you're (if u are lifting heavy) traumatizing your muscle fibers literally. Gotta let them grow
You should give your body more of a rest, you must be exhausted. Taking rest days is important for recovery and muscle growth, which includes getting a good nights rest too.

I do not exercise much, 6 days a week is a lot of exercise, do not for guilty for the days that you dont do. But i guess do someghing else in its place that will take your mind off it by doing a more relaxing activity.
Yeah I feel like that sometimes but it really is important for your body to rest. I just tell myself I'll be able to push myself that much harder the next day.
I know how you feel but think about how far you have come and your muscles need rest to get better too try and distract yourself xx
spend a little time researching new exercises or studying form and lifting techniques. like doing the book work for a career you really want.
hope that helps.
JJ.I know what you mean. If I stay out of the gym more than a day... I feel guilty.
Only 6 days? Way to make me feel fat!
JK! You're doing so good!!!I know what you mean. I usually dont schedule a day off, I just listen to my body and when I need 1 I take 1. and on those day i usually stretch and do abs still.
Not sure if I feel guilty on my day off.
But I do miss exercising.i feel relax on a off day because i get only one rest day in a week
Do not burn your self out, try doing other things to keep yourself from thinking about it.
Sounds like to me your Addicted to working out. I think you should watch a movie or something shit. I never understood how people can be so obsessed with working out.
