I'm 5'2.9" and I weight 98lb 5.2 oz. Am I too underweight?

At yr height, especially if you have a slight build? Not necessarily.

Is yr eating highly restricted? Do you have normal amounts of energy for a teenager? Do you have a naturally slight bone structure (thin wrists and ankles are a giveaway)?

One of my best girlfriends is 5'1", has had 2 natural childbirths, and still weighs about 90 lbs soaking wet. That's just the way she's built. (She's Vietnamese, if yr wondering.) She eats a lot, lives a normal life, and is just naturally thin.

At yr age (well, in high school... when I was 16) I was 6'2" and about 120lbs, even though I ate my father's hearty Mexican food all the damn time, lol. Again... naturally slim, willowy build.

It's hard to tell without seeing pictures, but... if you aren't exerting iron control over yr diet, and that's yr current weight, then it's almost certainly a healthy weight.

My eating is almost not restricted at all. I eat all the time - especially sweets. Hmm, I have anemia so I am kind of weak and I get dizzy easily so I'd have to answer no when it comes to my energy. Yes my build is petite! People tell me that I don't eat anything and that I need to gain some weight!

Hm. If you are anemic (do you know a more specific type of anemia? bloodwork?), you should definitely get on the task of fixing yr diet and supplementation to correct that problem.

No you're not you're just small so. people are not used to the weight numbers. At your height If you were five ft Six then you'd be 120. to 140 depending if you're small boned or large boned. So don't worry about it. :)

Depends on you're age, but you might be a little underweight, not much though, it might just seem like it because your weight is less than 100 lbs

If you're physically able to I would healthily try to get to at least like 105lbs.

98 isn't god awful underweight for your height, but it's borderline. It's the very bare minimum.

@Azara fair point but if I lost an extra 21lbs I'd look like a skeleton it can't be that much different for a girl.

I' was 95 pounds at 5 ft 6 and I ran marathons. Thin with muscle not a Skelton. I think skeleton is an exaggeration. It's aesthetic talk not physiological... You might look like an actual. skeleton if you were 70 pounds. Her at her height 40 pounds.

I've seen skeletons... they don't weigh around 100 u less over 6 feet tall. I knew a. woman who. was 5 10. who was 90. She was close :-)

Being unattractive thin is not same as Skelton.

Anyhow she's two inches shorter which is 20 pounds. If you lost twenty pounds you'd be forty pounds lighter than her. That's huge difference. Bone density and see makes a huge difference. Unless you have small boned this so probably why you feel so thin.
