Will my baby suffer from all my bad habits?

So i believe I am pregnant but for the past 10 years I have been smoking ganja daily, drinking at least twice a week and large amounts too. I ve gone months without it but I Like drinking and smoking weed. Obviously I ve cut down the last few weeks but I just want to know will this affect my baby if I am pregnant even tho I plan to stop completely once I am 100% sure.

I did get a preg test that came out negative! Thank u God. If I don't drink anymore and want to have a child, will my past still affect the baby

From the research I've done, only abusing alcohol could have an affect on your child's genetics and make them more prone to abusing alcohol in the future, where as it's not the same for weed. No negative effects have been found in children whose parents smoked weed (while not pregnant). However, children mostly learn behaviours from observing their parents behaviour so if they see you drinking often and/or heavily, while smoking weed pretty often, they might view this as normal and acceptable and thus be more likely to adopt these behaviours themselves.

Well I hope you're joking. You stop any substance use when you think you MIGHT be or become pregnant. You don't wait for confirmation. Have you seriously been consuming alcohol, in particular, since the time you think you conceived? Look up fetal alcohol syndrome. I pray this is some kind of fake post.

Drinking while pregnant is extremely detrimental to a baby. If you have to question that then you are not ready to be a mother. Smoking weed is debatable to some (to me, smoking anything while pregnant seems unhealthy). Go get a pregnancy test. They even sell them at the dollar stores now. Don't sit around worrying yourself. Worry is a misuse of imagination. Get the facts straight and act accordingly. Good luck!

Alcoholic beverage can cause severe symptoms. It is more harmful than cigarette so NEVER DRINK when you are pregnant!!
