I have a tooth abscess what should I do?

Go see the dentist, but if that isn't an option rinse mouth out with warm salt water, than crush a clove of garlic than mix the crushed garlic with some clove oil, than apply the mixture to the tooth/gum abscess. The garlic helps with the infection while the clove oil helps with the pain.

I had a tooth abscess, I did nothing but drain the pus and blood from it myself and actually haven't had any problems with it since but if the dentist is available to you, then you should probably go to it.

Dude, I had like a huge white lump that I thought was a random tooth growing through my gum and I kept poking it 'cause it was squidy and not hard and one day I poked too much and it just exploded pus and blood all over our mirror. I screamed. To clean it, I swilled my mouth out with salt water a couple of times a day. It'd fill up with pus maybe once a day and I just had to press my finger against it and all the pus would come out and after a couple of days, it just stopped. I was also on antibiotics for other things which helped. I haven't had any issues with it since then, it's totally painless and looks normal.

Buuuuut that's a really gross way of doing it and I guess it's more of a gum abscess than a tooth one and I only did it because of my huge fear of dentists so I really would recommend you go to a dentist because abscesses can be a pretty big problem, I just got lucky.

you really got lucky. it could have been worse without proper dental help. it could have been infected or something

mine i believe is a tooth abscess coz the lump is located at the end of one of my tooth which is hurting for a week now. i went to my dentist the other day and he gave me some meds. he said that if the pain did not stop, i should have my tooth x-rayed and see if i will need a root canal operation.
i wish it's just as simple as your case coz i also hate going to the dentist. not because im afraid but because of the bills.
