Help my dental crown is loose What should I do?

I had a filling done next to my crown on another tooth a few weeks ago and ever since then i have been getting some pain in the tooth with a crown even tho it had a root canal. Today this tooth was bothering me and i thought maybe i had something stuck in between so i took some floss and the crown is know loose. I do have an appointment at the dentist next Thursday but im worried it might fall out by then. Today i called no one is picking up. Tomorrow it closes early while im a work. Have no clue what should i do? should i eat some softer foods and just wait patiently until next Thursday?

Our teeth require specific minerals in order to rebuild, repair and heal. If you aren't getting enough of these then it is like a wall without cement. Has your Dentist mentioned any of these in the (I'm assuming) many years you have seen him?

The same minerals can help rid you of pain. It sounds like they use a Crown to cover weak teeth or teeth that have been damaged? But no mention of getting the minerals required so our body can do the same on it's own?
