I took a blood test and I just got a call from my doctors office asking to come in bc my doctor wants to dicuss the results. I am freaking out. Would they call and ask me to come in even though they didn't find anything? I asked if it was serious and she said the doctor said no rush.

What was the blood test for? They usually don't call for you to come in unless it's something serious why not go to find out instead of torturing yourself

I have a appointment Thursday. I just don't do well with suspense. I am going to have a panic attack.

Well it could be good news... one of my doctors called me back after and STD test and I thought I caught something but she just wanted me to do a pap smear because it was overdue 😑 but everything was fine with me

Some places want you to go in regardless of results to make sure it's confidential

They used to call either way for HIV tests.

It isn't hiv test but it was a blood test that checked everything like liver and kindey and stuff.

It probably means they either had problems with the blood work or they found something but it isn't life or death.

And by life or death you mean serious illness like cancer and stuff?
