What to do to ease pain from sugar burns?

Long story short I just burnt my hand, especially the fingers with hot caramel (approx. 350-400°F) & cooled it with ice immediately but the fingers, especially the tips are really red and still hurt like hell now 😒 Anything else I can do?
Typing this with one hand only lol

Usually I run the burned skin under cold water for a little bit, to wash and cool it off. Though I guess you've done that already. xD

And like Valac said, aloe can help soothe things a bit if you have it around the house.

Otherwise, water and waiting out the pain are the only things to do. Hope you feel better soon. :)

If you were still little, you could also have had someone kiss it and make it better. :P Actually, why not have that when we're older too? -- lol xD

I suppose water, aloe, and any burn ointments (if there is a convenient store nearby that sells them) will have to do.

You do not realize just how VERY lucky you are right now.
Caramel burns can be very bad like burn to the bone bad.
Basically though, there really is nothing but chances are your hand is going to be blistered all to hell.
What i'd do is go the the local pharmacy and look for a very good burn cream because you are going to need it

Ugh my hand just seems reddened at the moment but there's some smaller blisters on the finger tips

You are very, very, very lucky this didn't give you third degree burns, you might have needed surgery or at worst an amputation

Cover as much of the burn as you can with something like Vaseline or neosporin and then put a bandaid on top.

As long as the skin isn't open aloe if ya have it. But if not, minty toothpaste actually helps stop the burn.

I once had that with thermal glue. You probably get a blister. Just keep coolling it with running water to cool the underlying tissue. Nothing else you can do.

Whole grain , it cools burns down , once my hands got burned and it sucked and I was cooking and that's the only thing infront of me and it looked tempting lol

I hope it gets better 😄, just stay away from water it makes burns worse because it reacts with the burn , and milk helps too also if you had a very spicy food milk helps , and for burn hand alkali things work like liquid soap that's what they use to end HCL Acid burns in the laboratory wow I've been listening to the chemistry class 😃😂😂
