i personally rarely have heartburn but if i do, i just eat an apple. that usually fixes it. if not, i take Bullrich Salt. That's just the local brand that sells Sodium Bicarbonate (Natron) as a specific natural heartburn remedy. it's completely harmless. it just reduces your stomachs acidity and only leaves salt and water doing so.

There used to be this stuff called Brioschi that I used to use. It was sort of like Alka Setltzer. It is not made anymore. Now I just try to avoid certain foods.

I rarely get heartburn but when I do, a few TUMS or generic equivalent, followed by drinking lots of water, usually helps.

Use Omeprazole, over the counter, 20MG as it is a good preventive. Take one capsule in the morning.

I used to get heartburn really bad. I was taking pepcid twice a day until I went to the doctor. She put me on pantoprazole once a day before meals

Besides Omeprozole every other night, if I get indigestion, heartburn, agita, etc. I'll reach for three Tums. If it's really bad, baking soda and water does the trick.
