I have long dark hair growing under my chin and I'm a GIRL! I just saw it today and I had one on my right side and 3 on my left. I'm really scared and am thinking about killing myself because of this, it's so embarrassing.

totally normal, if you have high testosterone levels (which women can); also, if you have dark/thick hair on your head, you'll have it everywhere else as well.

that said, it's nothing to worry about, and it's definitely not a reason to kill yourself. no one can see those hairs from a distance but, if you really want to remove them, go to a salon and ask to have them removed (they can safely be waxed or lasered away, but avoid plucking as it may cause infection).

it's highly unlikely that they'll ever grow to anything more than they are now. but, as with hair anywhere else, they will grow back.

okay, a little over dramatic here. killing yourself because of chin hairs? it's completely normal to get chin hairs. that's why a razor or tweezers exist. pluck them off your face or shave your face, as it is also completely normal for girls to shave their face.

That's really really common. Don't worry about it. If it bothers you, you can get rid of it with electrolysis.

Check with your gynaecologist to make sure you dont have PCOS Poly-cystic-ovarian-syndrome, it may affect your ability to have children.

Wax it. Some girls happen to have hair on the chin, don't kill yourself it's easier if you just wax it.
