I'm about 6'2" and I'm VERY slim -- I was an editorial model in my twenties, and I still have the same silhouette now, except "enhanced" by childbirth and fitness training -- and my natural waist is right around 27".

By contrast, I have a girlfriend who's about 5 feet tall on her tippy toes, with a physique that she wryly describes as "never having lost her baby fat", and she also has a 27" natural waist.

When I was growing up it was said that 36 - 24 - 36 was the ideal figure for a woman but that's been many years ago. By today's standards a 27 inch waist is a normal/average size waist. Honey you're way too young to worry about being fat if that's what you're worried about.

Normal, I think it's better to have a bigger waist. As long as my stomach is flat, I'd prefer a 26 inch one with a 28 inch lower waist rather than my 22 inch with a 30 inch lower waist. It just looks weird on me.
