My opinion isn't as black and white as prolife/prochoice, it's like this:

If you got pregnant by spreading your legs, you should woman ip and take responsibility. I don't believe you should end a potential life due to your mistakes.

However, if you've been raped or you know your baby is gonna live a painful life/has disabilities. Then I think abortion can be justified. I think anyone who was born a rape baby, and later in life they found out, pretty sure they'd kill themselves. And the disability part is obvious, put them out of their misery.

Another reason I'm more pro-choice: Yeah if you get pregnant by willingly having sex with someone, you should take responsibility. But when women have kids when they don't want to, they add to the population of shitty parents. And we don't need more shitty parents who make their kids feel unwanted/unloved. The argument of adoption comes up, that would seem like a good idea. But the foster care system isn't the best environment for kids sadly. From what I've seen/heard it's nothing but hell. And then most of what I've seen, once the child is finally adopted, they're adopted into a hellish family. That's a lot of unnecessary trauma for a child in my opinion.

I feel conflicted. Both sides have very good arguments, but Pro-Choice has more points.

Growing up in an environment that is not ready or able to support or care for a child is infinitely worse than not being born at all.

It's about the child. Not about the parent. People are selfish - that is the main problem.

I'm always on the side of prevention via contraception but what you say is plain foolish.
