Yes, its normal. I get them all the time. That is because as your going through your cycle, your pumping more blood in your system than you do when your off your period. It worse during the hot summer. And can be so-so during the winter months, until you stop your period. Its gets worse if your iron is low. It can be stress related, your thyroid. But you would have to be tested for those things to be considered. I highly doubt it's cancer. But your never too young, so it's best to just ask your doctor. If this is other than your period, then yes, it is a sign for something much serious. You can talk to your primary doctor and gynecologist.
