Does anyone else find normal indoor swimming pools to be really cold?

I like to swim in mornings before work, but it takes me forever to get into the pool and I'm cold while swimming. Everyone says it's just normal water temp though.. around 77 degrees. What can I do? I love swimming but feel cold the whole time...

Hahaha, this site... I just saw a question that asked if any girls were horny, another one about guys taking big dumps in their house to mark their territory and now a question about cold indoor swimming pools. You gotta love this place...

Its not "normal", but it would cost an enormous amount of energy to bring it to a higher temperature (unless you live in a tropical country).

It is normal. Swimmers don't like the water much warmer. They sweat too much if the waters 80. I guess you're just warm blooded.
I'm happy when the lake gets to 72.

I usally swim in the river so that is warm and if you do want to heat it up another 10 degrees it cost about another $36500/year

Get used to it I guess? Even 10 degrees lower that's not cold.
