Are you annoyed when mothers bring older boys into the women's locker room at the gym?

I'm not worried about little 4 and 5 yr olds but 8 and 9 year olds is nuts! I try to workout at the local community pool and gym after work and it's really annoying when it happens. Like, I would rather not step into dry clothes after showering with some boy who's as tall as my shoulder nearby. It's awkward!

Damn. Lucky little nippers! Still, it's not as bad as the adult male guards they'll probably have watching you live over the CCTV in community gyms and pools. Just think about the fact that grown men are watching you strip off and get changed, and that there's nothing you can do about it. Once you have, then the 8-9yr old boys will seem like a mild irritation at most in comparison. Well, have a nice shower next time- and remember to smile for the cameras!

I don't exactly get the issue since he is pre-puberty still. Though that might be just me growing up in a country with the second most nude-beaches, going regulary into saunas with grandparents (where its all nude here as well) and plenty of public swimming baths here having open locker-rooms for both gender with only seperated bathrooms and a handful of private cabins as changing rooms.

Well I started puberty at 7, so some of us that got to go into the women’s locker room when we were little got to enjoy it. 😜

Yes that is a bit off. I think the cut off age should be about five/six. My nephew is five, and my sister doesn't take him into bathrooms or the change room with her anymore.

I agree 100%. If he's old enough to store memories and talk he should not be around naked women in a locker room.

I was one of those little boys, my mother always took me into the women’s locker room when I was little. I was also short for my age so I got the cute little kid pass. Oh if only they knew. 😈

My wife HATES that and complains to the gym management. Women with kids are supposed to use the private "family" change rooms, but they still take 10-12 year old boys into the women's locker room. I told the wife to start using the family room by herself since no one else is using it.

Not at all. I get more female attention from the daughters of my male spotter buddies while changing and showering in thw men's room.
