Nauseous during period?

Okay, well I'm 14 and every time I get my period I get nauseous. Sometimes I get cramps but not usually. Is there any way to get rid of this? Or at least make it less?

From what I figured it is fairly normal your age and it's supposed to become a bit better with age. Until then probably is best to use some home remedies to help with the Nausea.

Your uterus contractions can upset your stomach and intestines. I'm not sure how to fix it, other than drinking ginger ale or sucking on breath mints (my go-to when I'm queasy).

It's gotten so bad. Somedays I can't do anything but lay down. And I'm not eating enough

Heating pads, ginger ale, mints and plenty of water. Try talking to your doctor about it. They might suggest putting you on birth control.

I'll look into that. Not sure if I can go to the doctor about it because my parents hate doctors

Just be like, hey im having issues A B and C, it's really painful/ uncomfortable, id like to a doctor. And if thry say no, point out that this is a chronic issue.
