Just some background info- I have PCOS and haven’t gotten a period in over a year. I’ve tried so many things and nothing so far has really stuck or worked completely. I’ll see results for like 2 months and then I’m at a standstill.
For the past few months I’ve been experimenting with something else now. I quit intermittent fasting as I was told it increases my stress hormones. I also started working out by only doing cardio and not strength training everyday rather than 4 times a week. I’m also eating a mostly vegan diet (I consume milk once a day), and I’m massaging castor oil on my pelvic area nightly. For the past 3 months, probably about once every 2 weeks or so, I’ve been experiencing a mild cramping sensation. I thought my period was finally coming but it’s not that. It’s not painful or unbearable but I definitely feel something. If not cramping it almost feels like pull. My womb did drop (I was unaware of this before since I had no pain or any other sensation) and was put back in place. I am very very cautious of what I do now to avoid dropping it again, yet I’m wondering if that’s it, or if it’s ovulation cramps or id my period is trying to come. Or anything worse. Has anyone experienced this or have any idea what it can be? I took an ultrasound a couple months ago and everything was fine, except for minuscule cysts on the ovaries but I always had that.

My recommendation is to cut out the milk you are drinking because you could be lactose intolerant. That could be giving you stomach cramping you think is your uterus.
With PCOS you are likely already insulin resistant. This means that you are likely having higher blood sugar readings. The lactose in the milk you are drinking is being converted into sugar. This can make it harder to lose weight. Many patients with PCOS are put on a diabetes or sugar-lowering medication called Metformin.
I do not understand when you said you womb drops. Throughout the month your reproductive organs will drop lower in the pelvis so that the lining of your uterus can shed. Also, it is not necessary to have a period each month unless you are trying to get pregnant. I have/had PCOS and since I had no interest in breeding I shut it all down with birth control. I have had a Mirena hormonal IUD in combination for over 15 years.
It’s common for women with pcos. That means your eggs aren’t ripe enough to be released even though they must be ripe at the time
No idea, but I hope you figure it out
Thank you 😊
