Today I had my appraisal at work and what I got was so unfair. I worked so hard in this project for a year in a really awful place with low hygiene. I had to take my annual leave before end of this year and I would not have been able to travel in December because I was busy with MBA. I was supposed to go to Germany in Oct to meet my ex but I cancelled because he was a creep. So I only had November which was go live of this project. My manager agreed for me to take a leave even though it was a critical period but she said she’s willing to work extra so I can get a time off, as it’s my right.
Project went live and work was not effected because I was not there, yet her manager gave her a low grade because she approved my leave when she shouldn’t, and thus I also got a lower grade, which is unfair. Now I feel so sad for the unfair treatment and feel nauseous. Any advice?
