Do you know how to fight?

I am going to assume more guys do, but I want to ask everybody.

I will start by saying YES I do know how to fight and how to handle myself.

I grew up with fighting in my neighborhood, and had group fights while I was in highschool. Thank god didn't lose any fights in my life. My uncle was a boxer and he always wanted to give me lessons, he said I have a good body type for boxing. I was eager for it but my dad didn't want that.

But now I am taking Pankration classes in every week, an MMA fight which is mixture of wrestling and punching your opponet and I like that. I am planning to learn Kravmaga and more Martial Arts in the future.

Pankration was found by Spartans and they were really good at it.

Yeah. Am I proud of it? No. It's just that there's some people out there looking for a fight, so you better know how to hold your own, that's all :/

Yes, I do. But most of it was adapted from my brother teaching me how to hit powerfully and using my background with wrestling.

I'm short so I do better when I'm on the same level with people. I'm a grappler, it's always been an easy win for me when I get you on the ground.

I've only used it to protect myself and people I care about. With the exception of one time only... But he deserved it.

what I have learned is all those self defense classes never really teach you how to effectively defend yourself against stronger men. why? because you will be fighting a moving target. they train women to fight against store manikins and leave them under the notion that their target will not be mobile in a fight. I think to get a good sense of you being good in a fight is by getting into the real thing. I used to box although I now want to get involved in mix martial arts like grappling etc.

Most guys hold eachother as if they are bi and they even roll and start raping and shredding their clothes off o the floor smh. I use ma fist of fury like Bruce Lee. I dont cat fight or hold. But if i were to fight with u, i'd use the weapon in ma panties 👙😉

No! I have absolutely no idea how to fight AND I also happen to be COMPLETELY INCAPABLE OF HURTING ANYONE. Like, the very idea of hitting or attacking someone with the intention to hurt them is sooo... ugh! I can't even punch a pillow without holding back. Not that I tried to punch a pillow more than once in my life when my parents told me to.

I'm also very sensitive to pain of all kinds. Seriously, you cannot touch me. In fact, I'm sensitive to tickling, too, to the point it's almost as bad as feeling pain. But while most people who hate tickling would say something like "I will punch you", I would personally just curl up in a little ball on the ground and cry. It's happened more than once.

But, I will admit, if someone tries to kidnap or kill I will poke them in the eyeballs with my two fingers.

Yes, but I dont know any martial arts. I had to learn being beaten up in school.

It is. It's very fun. I've been boxing for 3 years now. It takes time getting used to. What made you decide to join boxing?

@Flow_like_the_wind wow that's a long time! Yeah, especially since I don't have a lot of upper body strength. Um I don't know my dad and brother were really into it and I'd always box with them... I'm trying to change my lifestyle and get healthier and I really like boxing.

That's a good way to look at it. Boxing will definitely help. It'll make you feel better and be more confident. I too need to get healthier and in better shape for the future. Starting tomorrow I'm going to eat a much cleaner diet, but as of today I'm gonna finish off by eating junk. Not the smartest choice but I only live once lmao.

Well, yea with two older brothers and you're the baby girl, you get taught some dirty moves. Haven't really needed to use them so Im thankful for that.

Yes, I can kill a person quite efficiently with my bare hands, or just cripple their limbs, depending on the circumstances.

I was at multiple self defence courses (no martial arts) and the army, so might be able ;)

Yeah, A friend teaches me stuff or we try out things we see on youtube. It definitely helped

YouTube is terrible way to learn how to fight. A lot of them don't have any accreditation.
