We ain't kids of course, but our brains still function similarly.
It's basically all will power. You have to put effort into putting effort. It sounds weird but it's true. The thing though is after a while it comes like second nature and it won't be much of a problem anymore. You just have to push yourself at first.
set a workout program. So, if you've scheduled it for Tuesday at 8, you have to do it.
Bodies like to rest. See that yoy have a gym companion that pushes you.

Because your endorphins are kicking in. It's hard because soreness, how dedicated you are, motivation, start out a few times a week then increase and you go. Keep it up.
OOOMG I have the same problem haha. I'm such a bump on a log.
You may need to vary things so you don't get bored with your workout...
