You don't necessarily have to eat healthy to gain muscle from lifting weights. I mean in reality a person could get buff by eating cake... lol. Obviously they would get fat as fuck too. I don't think you need to worry too much about your diet. The only thing is if you don't want to gain a lot of fat, try not to eat a ton of calories every day. Or just eat plenty, and do cardio too. Also, females just don't get giant muscles without trying REALLY hard. So if your family thinks you'll get big, just go online and find some sexy powerlifter girls who look feminine and sexy as fuck, and who lift more than your average man can, as proof! lol.
But yea, vegetables are nice, and fruits and all that healthy stuff is nice... just for general healthiness ya know? But as far as muscle building you need protein and carbs. Protein is the thing that muscle is made of, and carbs is the thing that takes the protein and puts it in the muscle... to put it as simple as possible lol. And it's more than likely that you get plenty of protein and carbs in your diet already so I don't think you should worry at all.

Kellogg's breakfast shakes or whatever they are called. 15g of protein, which is ok for a post workout drink. you could keep in your room and worse case scenario, your parents find them and you say "They're good"
I suppose you get hispanic dishes like taco's and such. There you have options enough. The base is corn or another wheat. That is your carb source. Reduce the fatty components like the cheese and the heavy sauces. Instead add enough vegetables, like corn, salad, ... Don't worry about the beans. They are a vegetable source of proteins. And your body needs proteins, but in small portions, some 5/ day, vegetable or animal

ha! i know EXACTLY what you're saying. Im half Mexican and half Guatemalan. The main difference i've noticed is the amount of carbs that are in Mexican food compared to Central American dishes. You're basically going to have to find ways to do most of your eating outside the home. What really gets you is the rice and potatoes and all the frying that's done. It's fucking over kill on carbs.
Oh you poor champion. Welcome to my world, i stand by you because i know how it feels. Imagine am a chef and they still give me drama when it comes to healthy food.
