Do you think it's safe to shower?

I had my toenail removed a week ago. It had been split in half and became infected. The infection has cleared and I've been keeping antibacterial cream and a bandage on it. I haven't gotten it wet in a week. Do you think its safe to just go ahead and shower now? I've been taking baths with my foot hanging out of the tub

You can shower, but do not get it wet yet.

You can wear a plastic bag in your foot and use big scotch tape- the one used for boxes to seal it. If done tightly, you will not have water inside. You can also check with your pharmacy if they have waterproof cover -waterproof bandage exists.

I had my toenail removed long ago. I could not wet it for like 1 month. I used to wear plastic bags and clean my foot with wipes and so.

I think you should first ask your doctor if you can expose your foot to water.

Podiatrists have said wait 24 hours and keep the bandage on
before you take a shower/clean it... I'm pretty sure you can just
make sure you clean your toe and rinse out any shampoo that
may get in there.
