What happened to my knuckle?

Today I got upset which resulted in me punching a brick wall a few times. I know it was stupid, you don't have to tell me, but now my middle finger knuckle is swollen. It was really large earlier, but it's gone down a bit now. It still hurts to touch and move though, and I can't make a fist with my hand. What have I done to it?

you damaged it, never do it again, i know hot it hurts like hell, i once punched my fist into a wall very angrily and my pinky finger got fractured really badly, i still have my x ray report of that fracture.

Try putting ice on your hand. That may help. If it still hurts after a couple of days, good chance you broke something

You damaged some tendons in it. It will heal, but take time. Put ice and a cream like Voltaren or equivalent
