I am not sure if I am normal, do you think I might have a mental illness?

I keep wondering if I have a mental illness because for example:

- I am very interested in science, medicine, astronomy.. I like reading books about it -most people don't?
- I am very naive -I find it hard to read people's intentions
- I am very sensitive- movies or songs can make me cry
- I like people, but being around people too much makes me tired, I can rest only when I am alone,
- I sometimes don't know how to behave in social situations , what to talk about
- I can't find my own style , I often tend to imitate other people.
- I like having serious conversations about for example politics, meaning of life, ..
I wonder if normal people experience such problems as well? Or might I have mental illness?

I think you are normal, and no one is "normal" we are all different.
It's ok to have interests.
It's ok to have trust in people, it just means you want people to trust you.
It's ok to be sensitive, nothing wrong with being a crier.
It's ok to be an introvert, and only be close to a few people.
Some times reading a self help book like "safe people" "boundaries" or beyond boundaries helps you to learn to talk to people.
It's ok to imitate people, that is why there are fashion magazines out there.
It's ok to like having serious conversations about politics and the meaning of life. I do it too.
No mental illness. You are fine.

Quite possibly. But then again it's really a very mild disorder and really just some counseling fixes it for me.

I read about asperger's and I think I really have it, Because I have all the symptoms! I always though that normal people feel similar? so I am really different :(

You aren't that different! Just relax! It's not a serious disorder and it only requires you to pay a little more attention in social sittuations to appear normal. Also, I've found that people with asperger's are generally smarter than the rest of the population.

I think I am smart ( I speak 4 languages fluently, and I was always among the best students) , but I often feel stupid in social situations , I have difficulty making decisions... - I always suspected that there is something wrong with me.

It's possible that you have a MILD mental illness, but it's more likely that you simply are who you are, and are perfectly healthy. You don't need to conform to social norms entirely to be healthy, and nothing on this list is an obvious problem.

do you get interested into given topics for periods of time? do you find yourself spending more time than you have to on those topics?

no, I go to work , I do other things as well. I am just interested in this things and not interested in "normal " things like fashion, cooking, sports,,, ecc
