Should you have some degree of pain near your nails for a day or so after you cut them?

This tends to happen to me. I try to cut them short, and there's often some degree of pain. It's not brutal, but noticeable.

If my nails have grown out a bit and I trim them as short as I can, my fingertips will sometimes be a bit sore could also be you're cutting into the quik but normally you can tell immediately when you cut your quik as it hurts. You can also soak your fingertips in warm episom salt water.

Yes but the white part is actually a thinker part of the nail that protects the nerves in your finger and buy having them cut tgat short your greatly increasing your chance of getting a infection
