I cut my toenail halfway down will it grow back?

My big toe nail looked like it had fungus underneath it and it had been like this for months so I decided to cut the nail and so I cut my nail aBout halfway down (it didn't hurt it was just like trimming my nails)

It'll grow back. Get some fungicide on there while it's cut back. It's super hard to get rid of toenail fungus. Use something on it at least twice a day, and it can still take months or even years. Try using a couple of different fungicides. Try to let it wick between layers. The reason it's so hard to get rid of is because it's so hard to get the fungicide between those layers of nail.

Also watch for it spreading to other nails and hit it with the fungicide right away of it does.

If you can't get rid of it you might ask a doctor. I think there are oral drugs also. I've read that a combination of the oral and topical works best, but haven't tried it.

Well cool. You had better luck that I have. I used medicine on mine every day for 2-3 years before I gave up.

It will grow back. It does look like some fungus could be there. There are several products your pharmacists can recommend for treating toenail fungus.
