How do you catch up on sleep?

Back in High School, I didn't get much sleep because I sets my alarm clock 1-2 hours before 7am just to play MMORPGs that ruined my life and wasn't worth my time because it wasn't a real game on PC. Then, when I go to bed I stay in bed for around 8-10 hours a day depending on what time I go to bed. In the next morning, I wake up around 8am-9am (commonly 9am) and still be in bed awake because I'm tired.

Since I don't have any time to take a nap during the day, should I still go to sleep while in bed?
