What's wrong with me why can't I drink anymore?

I used to drink 5 times a week in a club 19-22 and was able to go out and drink no problem. Today I had a beer and I feel so nauseous! What's wrong with me? It doesn't matter what it is mixed drinks shot beer wine I feel extremely sick after 1-2. Has anyone had this and had it go away? I stopped drinking because of this but it sucks

Anything that happens suddenly is usually a sign something isn't right. As others are saying, I'd get it checked out. The medical staff won't think you're weird for asking, but if it is something serious like stomach cancer or an ulcer, or something else, you'll be glad you went.

Thanks but I already been to the doctor for blood tests and stuff I definitely have no symptoms other than nausea I just wanted to know how to cure it :/ it's all good thanks

Ah, ok. Well, that's good. Now, let me ask you this, and you may have to think about it a bit - but what was different before this started happening versus now? Did you start taking any new vitamins, did you start a new medication, did you start eating different foods, drinking different things? Believe it or not, any of that could have a bearing in this. Any changes you can think of?

Honestly at first it started with light nausea at night then sight hangovers then super bad hangovers and then an occasional intolerance and now it's pretty often. What changed was probably the fact that I gained 25 pounds and I feel that when you gain maybe your body doesn't process it well? Either way I'm working hard to lose it already lost 5 but I didn't really link it to that until you asked me

Hmmm.. well, it's possible. Generally, the more you weigh, the more you can drink. It's possible your body just can't tolerate alcohol. There's some groups more disposed to this than others; if you're African American, for example. I guess what I'd do if I was you would be to try super light stuff, like wine coolers, and see how one goes. Slowly work up from there, if you can. But if you get sick, stop. Wait a couple days, then try again with less.

Here's the funny part I'm Russian! Guess I got too much vodka in the blood stream lol. I have done some research and notices that you can actually build up a temporary allergy to alcohol or intolerance. Usually happens after binge drinking for a long time. Which I wasn't binging because I stopped at the right times buuut I did drink for a whole year almost every day but literally cut it out at the end. Ugh it was so gross lol

Wow, you're Russian? It should be in your genes, lol. Just build yourself up slowly, if you can. But there are people who really are intolerant. If you're one of them, there's not much that can be done. Just try to do things slowly and see how it goes.

Hmm. Well then it definitely sounds like your body has a lower tolerance now. I'd maybe go for some liver tests to see where your function is at. I have liver problems from parasites, and if I eat or drink something that my liver can't handle, I feel extremely nauseous later.
PS: if you do go for a liver tests, make sure they tell you exactly where your function is at. They didn't tell me, but I was looking over my files the other day and I noticed that my liver test came back low and they never said anything since it was "within range"

I don't drink. But you should check drinks at a different bar , to see how you feel.
