Smoking only looks cool to people that have grown up with a perspective that glorifies smoking, it may also seem "cool" as its often seen as an act of rebellion. Another factor would be the calming effect smoking gives, which portrays the smoker as being in a more dreamy state, which some people may want to achieve. You don't smoke cigs eh? What about weed?😂

It "looks" cool. But it's the kind of "cool" that everyone does to look "cool" which is not at all "cool" in reality. When I walk past a smoker, I do show my disgust in my face for him/her to see. The smell irritates me. There is nothing "cool" in doing a bad thing the crowd is doing. It's cool when you use your brain and define what's your kind of "cool" that is really "cool".

I personally think it looks cool and sexy (on some people) but the reality is that it isn't. I started smoking as I loved how it made me feel~ cool, rebellious and confident (all unlike me) and now those feelings have mostly changed...

I''ve always loved watching smoke from bonfires and stuff like that so maybe that's part of the reason I like it :)

it looks "cool" because of the hundreds of millions gone into advertising to make it appear to be cool. If it didn't look cool then a lot of people in marketing would not have jobs.

I smoke, and I promise you it's not cool. It's a horrible and unhealthy addiction. I hate smelling like cigs and constantly thinking about when I can take my next smoke break. My advice? "Just say no!" 👌 lol.
