What is a 'sheeple'?

I have read this a ton in the newspapers over the years... what does it mean?

Someone who likes to make love to sheep, hoping that an ewe (female sheep) will give birth to a interspecies love child

Someone who blindly follows a political ideology (Alinsky-ites in the 08 election)

A person who makes a living off farming sheep

Someone who wants to be a sheep

B. Though said blindness isn't generally restricted to politics. =P I'd say it's anyone who follows ANYTHING blindly, without stopping to think, or question why. Regardless of what it is. There are people who fit that description on both sides of ANY fence.

This isn't a term I use myself, but even so, that's how I've seen it used and I figured more people would be familiar with it. Unless some people are joking... I was tempted to vote A, for humor's sake, haha.
