Maybe a little but I have let wounds like these wound, after it dries up the skin falls off and the skin grows back to cover the spot. You may have the scar after but you can bleach it before it gets old and that will clear it up better.

you dont, it doesn't look deep... rest for a day or so and it should scab over, dont cover it all the time

Nah, it'll heal up. If it splits open again then maybe. The skin will fuse back to itself. Hit it with some hydrogen peroxide and some neosporine, keep a bandaid on it 'till it fuses. Put a new bandage on after a shower - let it dry out.
