I cut myself with a lightbulb 💡 I got two stitches on both fingers. This is my second day with and I can move the ring finger more than the middle finger. I can’t fully put my middle finger straight and that worries me. Is that normal? Is also more fat on the side. I’m wondering if I will have my finger tht size or will it go down?
it will take a while, but they will fade and your fingers will be better.
try not to move them too much until they heal, then you can start moving them, just ask your doctor what you can and cannot do.
You really won't see the scars, they are close to a crease, besides you now have a good story to tell.

You have inflammation which is going to take a while to go away, if you still can't move your finger when the inflammation goes away then doctor
Those are some sick scars, but I'd rather have scars than two missing fingers due to infection. You did the right thing by going to the doctor. The scars will fade one day, they all do.

It's too early to tell long term I think. Just got to take right steps now for best long term prognosis. Sorry this happened. As for scarring, there may be something but I think it will be faint so yeah.
There will likely be scarring if you get stitches. However on the underside of your hand; most people won't even notice.
What did the person who put the stitches in say?
