Is my tattoo infected?

There's about an inch of skin on my tattoo that didn't peel off normally, it scabbed and a little came off today. I thought the indents in the scab were part of the scab-- but it was my skin, I have long Indents in my skin. It's slightly yellow in the crevasses and the area has been surrounded by red for a few days, along with me getting fives on the other side. Should I be worried? First pic is rash and indents, second is hives (this is my second tattoo from the same place, first one didn't have this)

The yellow you describe is a bit worrying. Could be infection or allergic reaction to the ink. Sure, it could be nothing but why not go check it out? My tattoos scabbed and peeled a bunch but no yellow

Go back to your tattoo artist and talk to them, that's the best advice. If not satisfied, see your doctor or see a pharmacist.
