A couple of reasons, 1 we do it to get time to ourselves yeah it happens... but also sometimes the poop does not plop all at once especially those little guys they will take their time. Sometimes it is about waiting for the bowels to allow you to get rid of the rest because at times it will tease you with a little and you get up and then you have to go again, so you might as well sit it out and make sure.
You may not like this, but it’s not that we’re pooping, we use that time as a nice quiet time where women won’t annoy you lol
Maybe they do like me, popping doesn't take long, but after pooping they keep doing things on the phone while keeping sit on the throne

Outside of an abnormality or illness, it is totally due to diet.
Do an occasional colon hydrotherapy and a quarterly colon cleanse and you will see a world of difference, I promise!

For me, it's my time to think. It's a "safe space". And it's why I don't believe in gender neutral bathrooms. Im uncomfortable enough with dudes. But also I just take awhile, not much of a hidden reason why. It just happens to be how long it takes.

Well for me personally, I only poop when I have access to a shower, and immediately after each poop I shower to further clean my bottom... so its a whole ordeal when I go #2 mate lol.
