I'm a senior and I've had a job since I was sophomore and I've had an internship the past 3 semesters on top of the job. Just go to the mall and apply places, someone's always hiring. Or look around on campus if you don't have a job. At my school we have people working in the cafeteria's, student, union , theaters, sports center, administrative offices, and the admissions office. There's probably more places people work on my campus I'm just not aware of them

I saw the post online in a job database, but I went there in person to hand in my resume and fill out an application. It also helped that I started the job in the summer before school, so I had a few months where my availability was completely open and show that I was a good employee---which made them more open to my reduced availability/working around my school schedule once school started.
My school has a system to get in contact with companies and get a job (part of it is cause we are required to have co-ops). It's nice. I work at my co-op place still part time.
