Do blind people cry “tears”?

I was just wondering since their eyes don’t work, when they get emotional do they cry?

This sounded stupid at first. But then I thought about it.. Not all blind people are blind because there eyes don't work, some can't see do to brain damage or nerve damage. Even some blindness do cataracts doesn't mean the eye is dead or not working.

So blind people do have tears, some rare instances they may not have tears, but I don't think that is true for most.

Sure they do. They may be visually impaired, but their tear ducts still work. Unless they had some kind of physical damage to their eyes and/or tear ducts, they can still cry exactly like the rest of us.

Your body is trying to expel whatever is making your body feel pain. So when you are emotionally crying your body is trying to get rid of sadness for you. The tear-duct is not connected with the eye (not literally)

Yes they do. Only they dont have an ability of seeing. They have eyes and also tears.

Yea. Even if they're blind they still get dry eyes if they don't have tear ducts.
