WHY IS MY HELIX PIERCING STILL SWOLLEN?

So I got my helix pierced 2 weeks ago. I have been cleaning it with a saline solution and making sure I don't touch it unnecessarily. I try my hardest not to sleep on that side and it's been going pretty well. I have heard that it's not uncommon for this piercing to flare up randomly but lately I've been noticing that even after the flare ups have passed my cartilage is still swollen and a little pink. Is it normal for swelling to still be present after 2 weeks of having this piercing?

maybe saline isn't enough but if i was you i would go to get a doctor to check it out. i had one there and it got so infected i had to get it out and give up on the idea

i just got my nose done instead and thats been fine for over 30 years now
