Your body probably has a naturally thick build. You could be slim by perpetually starving yourself but in the long run you are very likely to gravitate back to your normal weight. This is not disastrous, you are still at a reasonable weight now. You need to examine your reasons for wanting to be thin, if it is to appease society that is not a valid reason. Learning to accept yourself for who you are is part of being healthy, and that may be you at 215 lbs rather than 150.

When I worked a sedentary job that was boring I would eat out of bordem. I found out if I ate shit I could stay awake. If you don't realize it you can really pack on the pounds overnight.

You can lose the weight. Maybe check with your doctor to see if there's an abnormal thyroid or something causing weight gain. But don't be hard on yourself you're still attractive.
