@KieranByrne Well, our organism is able to process alcohol to neutralize its toxicity and, even if alcohol damages your liver, livers regenerate quite quickly, especially compared to lungs. You can take out 2/3rds of your live and it will have regrown after a year.
Besides, smoke is not a gas, it's a mass of very small solid particules and inhaling smoke probably cause some of the particules to get stuck in your lungs, especially since lungs have mucus, so they can stay there and do more damage which can eventually cause things like cancer or limit your breath.
Space cakes and weed candies. Those won’t damage your lungs at all. So I think what you were trying to say was that the act of smoking anything in general damages your lungs.
@NeoKing I don't know how the body processes these molecules specifically but I would say it's safer than smoking. Then again, I'm not a professional or anything so I'm probably not accurate at all.
Yeah, edibles are definitely safer than smoking. Although if you want to know what’s the most damaging thing to smoke other than maybe crack or meth, K2 is a pretty good candidate.
The reason weed is banned is because governments have trouble taxing it, so its not whats actually worse per say, its just once governments can tax it is when they're like "fuck it who cares"
Your lungs were made for air nothing more. Your liver was made to remove toxins ie ethanol. One of these involves doing something your organs are not made for. Hence why alcohol is better in moderation. Smoking is bad no matter what you smoke.
Do some research you litterly kill your liver slowly by drinking imagine putting sewage water through a water filter made for the tap you destroy the filter
@Jaybird19 I don’t need to my qualifications in science tells me all I need. Also what you call “research” isn’t research googling stuff is rubbish you’ll learn that if you go to university. Your analogy doesn’t add up either. Your liver is that filter yes but unlike a filter the liver has the ability to regenerate 80% of damage done to it. You damage your lungs it’s permanent scarring it won’t heal 7/10 times.
Except it's not just killing your liver ever heard the term "muddy liver" that was my point sure you filter it but it's still litterly ingesting poison smoking pot is not posionous
@Jaybird19 Your liver isn't being killed by alcohol it's simply breaking it down. Also smoking pot is actually poisonous because pot contains stuff like mercury or lead. So when you smoke it your inhaling it causing lung damage on a small scale your liver is then poisoned by it and unlike ethanol it can't break down stuff like lead and other metals in plants so instead it has to remove it through bile.
@Jaybird19 Well why are you here then? I don't want to have to explain myself but still here I am. And while I cannot confirm that statement even if it is true it has not relevance o the point i'm making.
Its a bitch to quit drinking when you have a drinking problem, that is my current situation

When I was little, I used to think that everything that involves the word “drugs” is the worst. But as I grew up and realized that this plant we talking about is not THAT harmful due to it not being synthetic etc and having tried it before, I came to a point where it might actually be helpful for some extent. Booze is of course more dangerous if not consumed responsibly but I’ve never heard somebody passing away after consuming that plant.
I drink alcohol but I’m not addicted I like one beer every 2 months, my friends are addicted to smoke weed they say is not a drug but they can’t stop using it.
Maybe it depends on who you are. Some people are predisposed to getting schizophrenia and weed doesn't do them any favors. Other people may be predisposed to addiction to alcohol.
Marijuana is worse. It's for hipsters and chavs. Traditional working class folk prefer alcohol, because it's good for you. That's why the French and Italians live long.

Weed because it fries your brain and your lungs don't regenerate as well as your liver. Besides, alcohol is evacuated and processed fairly easily.
23 years old and have more sense than the people whom are posting alcohol!

Thank you for educating! 🙌🤜🤛
@KieranByrne Well, I'm no professional so some of the things I said might not be accurate but thanks for the compliment!
What about edibles?
@NeoKing You mean things like space cakes or some mushrooms?
Space cakes and weed candies. Those won’t damage your lungs at all. So I think what you were trying to say was that the act of smoking anything in general damages your lungs.

Whatever I really don't care drunk drivers kill more people than most predatory animals
Innocent people

Because alcohol is worse
Neither are bad in moderation. Both are when overdone.
its nearly impossible to OD on marijuana
@CasaNorba But you can overdo it to the point it impairs driving.
Both are okay in moderation. Alcohol is worse when not used in moderation.
Alcohol by a country mile.
Its a bitch to quit drinking when you have a drinking problem, that is my current situation

Drinking
Marijuana is anti inflammatory when ingested
Alcohol for sure... its dangerous for anyone arround... weed is just dangerous for cake
what do you think?
which one has killed the most people? which one causes aggression? which one causes mood disorders and other health problem?
In high amount? Alcohol. Moderate usage I think their both pretty benign.
Alcohol for sure. Smoke in your lungs isn't good either.
What you’ve just said has nothing to do with how dangerous either substance is.
Alcohol by far. That said. Someone who uses a bong is dabblin in them dark arts
Alcohol is worse and poisons your liver if over consumed. Now that that is said I'm going to finish my third IPA.
One you can overdose on, the other you cannot. One is physically addictive, the other is not.
This is a no brainer.
I mean neither is that bad with moderation. Between the two I'd say alcohol. It impairs you significantly more than smoking weed.
Alcohol 100% all it does is destroy doesn't do any good just damage, weed is a medicine.
