Why is my tan not going away?

i am in the sun for maybe an hour, maybe more, a day. (playing sports..this is "full on" sun) I have had this tan for nearly 1 and a half years. what's wrong? it makes me look so bad! :(

well my husband wishes he can tan. but to get rid of your tan (which I wish I could get rid of mine), you might just want to try using an umbrella when you are out and not doing sports to keep yourself in a shade and out of the sun. This may not help you get rid of the tan, but it may help you to prevent getting more tan. Or just try to walk in the shade as much as possible

If you are in the sun everyday of course your tan is not going to go away, because you are not letting it go away. You should wear lots of sunscreen and stay out of the sun if you want it to go away. Also exfoliation helps remove tan because it gets rid of dead skin, but this only works without sun exposure. if you want it to go away you cannot be in the sun every day.

that is true...but during holidays (2 months) I get no sun at all and still the same...why?

isn't is obvious why your tan isn't going away? you're always in the sun

If you are in the sun for an hour everyday then it's no wonder your tan is not going away. Tans only fade when you stop getting sunlight.
