Also had to explain that to my wife eventually. I wore socks for a few days so she doesn't notice but it was turning all foul and I had to go to the hospital.
Didn't hurt nearly as much as I imagined losing a piece of our body like that. Well, I've broken bones before. It felt sort of like that but with a weird sensation that's hard to describe like I'm so used to it there. Started turning black and oozing stuff so I had to tell my wife and go to the hospital. I was hoping I could just forget about it. Then I had to get the rest of it amputated.
Here in Japan some shady bars spike drinks with something resembling rape drug in other parts of the world. They usually do it to guys and steal their wallets. I think that's what happened to me because I completely lost memory of how I lost my toe. I've been drunk so many times and I can usually get at least a blurry recollection of what happened -- maybe just a few stumbling blocks like all the details of conversations or how I got home exactly. But never like a blank for the entire night. I got that when I lost my toe so maybe someone spiked my drink. My wallet was still there though -- just not my toe.
