    A few points here:

The FDA *NEVER* approves things this quickly. To pretend this wasn't entirely political would be pretty ignorant to the agency's history as well as the history of vaccines. The usual sock puppets have been toting a ~September timeframe for approval and mandates within certain departments of the government for months now. It sounds like this has been a forgone conclusion for a long time despite the efficacy of the Pfizer vaccine being under question for a while now, and the fact it's physically impossible for anything resembling long-term testing to have happened. That's kind of the reason why emergency use authorization was invoked in the first place. Once again, the government swamp is too busy twirling it's moustache to see how badly they're undermining themselves while trying to be clever. Or, they bumped it forward to distract people from the Biden administration's plummeting approval in the wake of the Afghanistan withdrawal disaster. According to basically every poll that asks people outside of a CNN news room, Covid is about the only subject that the administration is still viewed somewhat favorably with. Therefore it shouldn't surprise anyone that government shills and even the neocons don't want to talk about anything else anymore.

The type of people who believe the government can't be trusted, which is close to 100% of people who haven't gotten the jabs yet, don't give a damn what the FDA has to say anyway. Clearly most people who have gotten vaccinated weren't interested in waiting for the FDA either. At the end of the day, nobody really cares what the FDA has to say on this matter except to confirm their preexisting opinions and try to use it as a cudgel in arguments. qThe US Constitution does not bend the knee to the FDA. Their approval does not change the fact that the federal government does not have the power to enforce a nationwide mandate. At most, it may embolden some major companies and business owners to implement policies that basically require employees to show proof of vaccination as a requisite for employment. It is worth mentioning however that there might be enough squish republicans in the house and Senate to actually pass an amendment to the US Constitution that would allow for creating a mandatory vaccination law, and other laws like it.

Nobody who hasn't gotten it yet is ever going to at this point. They have an inflated sense of self-importance and they're convinced that the government wants to kill them for some reason. They aren't smart enough to comprehend the science that makes the vaccine make sense. They disregard that we're politician's tax cattle that pays for their mansions and yachts and are who voted them into office. They all know an unhealthy or dying person who got the vaccine who probably was just as unhealthy or dying prior to getting it. I mean... J&J had a scare where maybe 4 people had a nerve disorder as a result of the vaccine and they pulled it immediately. Suuure, the government wants to kill us...

And to be fair, there isn't exactly a reason to get vaccinated when everybody wants to continue with the mask bullshit regardless. Now they're just adding on further layers of annoyance if you aren't vaccinated, such as additional weekly testing. My professor was bellyaching about the masks because he has small children and his mom has cancer and it's like... bro, maybe the cancer should be the thing you're worried about, not maybe covid.

This whole thing just makes me understand that I hate everyone much more than I originally thought.

Real vaccines actually keep a person from getting infected from a specific disease.

Think measles, chicken pox, mumps, etc.

@FoghornLeghorn99 Maybe you should do some research. You can catch all those even if you've been vaccinated against them.

Why are thousands of other diseases being reported?

doesn't mean u can't get it or spread it, just means u will be more likely to not suffer as much with it or die from it, im not vaccinated but been considering it.

@FoghornLeghorn99 Because we've achieved herd immunity thanks to vaccines for many of those diseases and they're not that prominent anymore. If there were suddenly millions of people with mumps or measles then vaccinated people would start getting it too. Herd immunity is achieved around 75% vaccination rate, and hardly 50% of people have been vaccinated for covid. Meanwhile, 90% of 2 year olds have been vaccinated for measles. We'll eventually achieve herd immunity regardless, because once you've been infected by covid you get natural immunity; covid just has to burn its way through the rest of the population that either hasn't gotten the vaccine or the disease yet.

Vaccinated people can still get infected. How is that "herd immunity"?

@FoghornLeghorn99 Look, when we say "immunity" and "immune" it's really a misnomer... because we're referring to the immune system so it'd be much more appropriate to say something like immuno-resistant but that's a bit of a mouthful.

And herd immunity comes in when so many people are resistant to it it makes it very hard for the disease to spread.

You should try using google a bit bud. They don't pay me to teach you basic immunology.

HAHAHAHAHA! NO! In fact... not just no but... HELL NO! It's kind of ironic that all of a sudden it's approved all of a sudden. Wasn't the projected around 2023? Also, with all the reactions people have had it kind of makes you wonder. No matter what nobody will make me take the vaccine (and no I'm not an anti-vaxxer). I don't care what rubbish mandate there is or "approval". There is nothing that anyone can do or say to make me or my family to take it.

So here are my thoughts on the vaccines,
regardless of who makes what vaccine for COVID-19 !

The vaccine companies , politicians , the News media , the CDC , the world health organization ( WHO) are not being honest with the public.
A lot of corners were cut a lot of government regulations were put on the back burner.

It takes on average 15-20 years for a vaccine to be developed and get approved the COVID-19 vaccine was done in under a year so with that I'm not convinced it's safe , 4 ingredients in every vaccine are lead , murcury , aluminum and flouride wich are all nurotoxins but big pharma loves those 4 ingredients when those ingredients are unsafe.
Now I have really high blood pressure and people with high blood pressure have had strokes , heart attack and blood clots due to the vaccine.
I'm more concerned about my health and safety than doing what the government or employees want. I'm one of these who want all the information so I can make a well informed decision for my health.
I wonder who else have concerns of safety and health?

Flouride has to be stored in concrete and steel structures it eat bone , concrete and steel wich is why they have to be replaced every few years. Hitler put flouride in the water supply in the consontraton camps Florida closed the 3rd eye and makes people more like sheep
The CDC , the health department the who all list lead , murcury aluminum and flouride as nurotoxins. They are not magicley safe because they are put in a a medicine a shot or vaccine

One of the main conspiracy theories about covid vaccines that I have seen spread right here on gag is that it alters human DNA. It comes DIRECTLY from a nut job named David Icke.

He claims an inter-dimensional race of reptilian beings, the Archons or Anunnaki, have hijacked the Earth and a genetically modified human–Archon hybrid race of shape-shifting reptilians and they control phizer etc..

Litteraly the same language i see here over and over promoting weird conspiracy theories about antifa, George Soros, aliens, covid and the election can be traced to a first class , tin foil hat wearing lunatic who thinks he hears messages from God.

Fuck no! There have still been no clinical trials. Deaths and injuries are being downplayed and ignored.
The FDA gets 70% of its budget from the pharma industry and has a track record for approving harmful drugs. Conflict of interest. Corruption.

Since the legal system is not acknowledging natural antibodies in my blood stream I am opting for the Valneva Vax when it comes out. I trust the attenuated model for long term. Short term I trust Pfizer, but long term no one knows. One or two mRNA vaccines shouldn't be a gross concern, but decades of them will. It is designed to modify the cell and long term that will have consequences. I have friends that got Pfizer and my friends 60+ I recommended that over the others because it was having less adverse reactions. But realizing that this vaccine is pushing for standardization and being routine, I opt out from that.

Despite the largest fine in history at $2.3 billion for drug fraud, Pfizer was able to get full FDA approval in record time through Biden Admin. Booster shots show that the "Vaccine" wanes over time. Breakthroughs show that the "Vaccine" doesn't stop COVID 19. Fully Vaccinated Israel proved Pfizer is only 39% effective, and doesn't work past 6 months. A Vaccine that doesn't stop the disease and you have to take every 8 months is not a Vaccine. Its called Gene Therapy. The question for the vaccinated then is "Have you taken your twice yearly Booster yet?"

When the FDA itself admits its own phase three testing won't be done until 2025, meaning that not only did it not factor into its decision, but they still acknowledge the possibility of long-term risks? No. The precedent that's setting could doom us all.

I've already had Covid; I'm far more immune than any injection could make me. But even if I wasn't, I'd be even less likely to touch this thing now.

Me, my girlfriend, and my entire family have been fully vaccinated for over 4 months now and we haven’t had any symptoms at all. I doubt this will change skeptics opinions though. They could care less about what the medical experts and official organizations have to say.

Tbh you'll see no more than a few "yes I will now" because it was never about the FDA for them. They just don't want to sound like they hate people. They'll move the goal post repeatedly, hell some are saying "The trials should take years! I'm not getting it until I see those effects!"

Hell no. It's just so obvious how fucking corrupt even the most reputable institutions are. No professional in the field would just ignore long term testing. The fact that the FDA just did that just shows me that they are bought. Which isn't even surprised considering how much money companies like Pfizer have made in this short time.

this depends on how long the immunity lasts, most boosters protect for a long time. The ones going in sick to hospitals are now getting their antibody levels checked. There's will sort of identify what unsatisfactory antigen level is.

How does the shot have anything to do with your mother and grandparents being safe? The shot does not prevent spread and does not prevent infection.

But there are plenty of natural molecules that reduce viral load in your body, reduce viral replication, and weaken and kill the virus in your body, on your skin, in your sweat and even in your nose. Now that would actually make it safer for your family...

Now that a company who has been fined billions in the past for illegally promoting the use of their drugs, for false advertising, and for offering doctors kickbacks to bribe them, has been approved by the FDA, who also accept bribes and the average cost to have them approve a drug is $98 million, and have approved drugs with dangerous side effects such as an increased risk of cancer or death, will I be getting the vaccine?

Love the Feds attempts to minimize any counter stance towards getting the unvaxed vaxed in this 2nd Pandemic wave.

    3 factors stopping their efforts:
    - Long Term testing data collection
    - FDA approval (nearly 270M people vaxed under emergency use)
    - Religion I. e the mark of the beast

Again all the data you need to know the vaccine is safe is online.

Nowhere in the history of vaccines has there been a side effect found more than 8 weeks after vaccination. Most side effects show up within a couple of weeks.

So this whole argument of "we don't know the long term effects" is just blatant bullshit because we do!

Vaccines don't work like medication does, you don't take vaccines long term they are out of your system in literally a week.

@CasaNorba You won't have any freedom if you're dead. In order to protect freedom, we have to protect ourselves and others. The fact is if you get covid-19, you will probably recover. Unfortunately, with strains like Delta, even young people in their 20s and other perfectly healthy young people have died from it. Just because you don't die, that doesn't mean you won't infect others by being inconsiderate and refusing to take scientifically proven steps to prevent spreading the virus, resulting in the deaths of others.

Steps you can take to prevent that from happening are wearing masks, thorough personal hygiene practices, social distancing where possible, self isolating if you are infected and getting vaccinated. The more people are vaccinated, the less chance the disease will spread which means less chance of people getting seriously ill. This is common sense.

Also what people don't realize when they're throwing around the survivability rate is that it includes people who have had fucking double lung transplants who will die in 5 years time, people who still need oxygen a year later because they can't fucking breathe. There's major long term effects from covid that far outweigh the side effects of a vaccine.

@OfDeath its already been proven that YOU CAN STILL GET INFECTED AND PASS ON THE VIRUS EVEN IF YOU ARE VACCINATED. therefore nothing about me makes me inconsiderate for refusing the vaccine. I already had covid19 this past March and I'm still alive today and let me tell you I rather have that over the flu or any other illness I've had in my 34 years alive.

till then you are trying to protect yourself from an IMAGINARY enemy that our government wants us to believe we have. the delta variant itself its complete horseshit, it was orchestrated it to scare those who still refuse to take the vaccine. it can't be a coincidence that the delta variant became a thing shortly after the vaccines became available and if the government really was concern about the delta variant then they would of closed down the borders long ass time ago and not put so much hopes on the vaccine alone.

and have you heard of what's currently going on in New York right now? in that state you cannot go out in public places unless you have proof in your passport that you have been vaccinated. if that's not communism then I dont know what communism is. this also debunks your common sense logic that if more people get vaccinated the more safer we are because it sounds like the government has something called ULTERIOR MOTIVES

@CasaNorba if that's your argument then you clearly don't understand how vaccines work. Yes you can still catch the virus but you are far more likely to if you are unvaccinated and even if you are a breakthrough case you are less likely to need hospital treatment (which clears up the ICU's) AND less likely to pass it on. Not to mention less likely for the virus to mutate in you.

There are consequences of not getting vaccinated and those consequences are not being able to enter public places, your insurance not paying for your treatment if you get covid and people telling you you're a fucking idiot.

I don't care what your experience with covid was. I literally could not give a single flying fuck about you or your life. I honestly don't care if you die. I care if you pass the virus on to someone who is immunocompromised, a child, an infant, someone who can't get vaccinated, those are the people I care about.

Saying this virus is a conspiracy is utterly disgusting and disrespectful to people who have lost loved ones to this virus (myself included). Covid 19 has made it into the top 10 deadliest pandemics recorded in history and the death toll is still climbing (not to mention deaths are UNDER REPORTED). There is absolutely no fucking excuse for that to be the case.

Grow the fuck up and get vaccinated or stay the fuck home for the rest of your pathetic uneducated little life.

Protective masks, social distancing, hygiene and vaccination reduces the risk of spread and serious illness and purposely ignoring those facts and assuming it doesn't apply to you is putting others at risk which is inconsiderate. It is just the conspiracy theory stuff I don't have time for. I don't care to engage in an argument about something which is not based on evidence. "its just a conspiracy theory!"

"our government wouldn't do such a thing!"

"our government is very concern about our safety"

no @Aimée__LJ yet another reason why that book is famous is because it was considered fiction in the 1940s when it was first published until. but after the surveillance cameras and computer hacking became a thing decades later it is now impossible to still consider it fiction... dont you think?

It still isn't approved by the FDA. All that happened on August 23 was that they extended the EUA, that's it. Your question is misleading.

Yes it is true. Here's the letter (fact sheet) that was issued on the 23rd of August, notice how it says on the first and last page that the vaccine is still under the EUA. Thank you for taking the time to actually read the letter that was issued by the FDA.

No. Side effects aside the delta variant may be more lethal to people who took the vaccine. Example: Israel had roughly 245 covid deaths June/July and over 85% of the deaths were vaccinated people.

No. The most likely stats are that the vaccine especially considering its two shots is more deadly than someone healthy and younger in a low risk group. So no thanks.

Another fun fact, how many do you think die directly from AIDs? Id recommend you think this through if this is the standard you would like to use.

Why did you start a word game if you dont want to play one? Id recommend trusting the science. The CDC says there is likely vaccine deaths but they are still looking into the data since its so new they still dont have proper studies done smh. That can be read here: www.cdc.gov/.../adverse-events.html

But of course the vaccines can cause various medical issues that then can cause death. Had to mention that since we are still playing your childish word game. 🙄

Changing the subject because you dont want to address the cdc science? Are you a science denier? And believe me or not. I have no comment on otc meds i dont take them so i have no interest to look into them. But feel free to stick to the subject at hand. Like i said i personally think the less chemicals that go into the body the better. Vaccines should be used sparingly and only if they are proven safe and effective. The cdc by their own admission is still studying the long term effects and therefore cannot with certainty say there are no risks or long term effects. Nor can they even accurately decide on how much risk there is short term, they are still studying it. TRUST THE SCIENTISTS!

I agree the cdc recommends it. Do you agree it also says vaccine deaths have been reported and there is currently no study on them to quote numbers off of? Nor is there a long term study on bad effects? I recommend researching things before you do them, doesn't mean you have to do it if you prefer to just do what someone tells you with no thought involved at all.

i think those of us who are reluctant can be grateful that some just go get it without any fear, some are more brave than others but usually its a combination of worry because we all cope differently to illness, some know they aren't very good at dealing with viruses so are front of the queue.

@kc_4308 i know a young woman therapist and she has a boy who kept getting ill from another classmate at school and then making her ill. Always there is one kid whose parents tell them to go school anyway and they infect the whole class may it be flu cold or now covid. The moment schools had better guidance on classroom hygiene, that all stopped. It's just more a risk you could get covid as a parent. I got the vaccine anyway haven't got kids but i want to feel happier around people and now i feel like i did before the pandemic.

First, I believe the pharmaceutical companies have been making us all sick because it increases their profits. I also believe the spike protiens are dangerous and this is not proven effective. I am also concerned specifically about Pfizer because Pfizer is owned by the same group that owns the Wuhan lab. Also, way too many holes and conflicts of interest by Fauci.

The vaccine effectively acts like a virus!!! 🤔 Unlike traditional vaccines that trigger an immune response, this "injection" uses nano tech to hijack whatever cell the serum comes in contact with and stimulate it to produce a specific protein chain... Just Like A Virus. This is a big experiment and the data they are collecting will lead to something dark indeed. A Synthetic Viral weapon? Not a Bio weapon. It is a whole new tech they are releasing and almost noone even grasps that! Love ya!
