I seriously hurt my left knee and foot- from a fall, should have gone to a dr earlier tonight... about half hour to see how bad it was, it was pretty bad by that time, just wasn't thinking right, too much pain to think right... so I will go later today.. which will be that next day.

Oof, I don't know sorry unless a wheelchair is a viable option. I just fractured my tibia on Sunday too :(

It’s alright, its not too much of a killer it just puts me out of football for a few weeks.

I've seen them sold at Walmart, target, and harbor freight. I'm really sure you can get it at a medical supply store. They vary in price. The cheapest I've seen is like $80 but they can go up to several hundred dollars

There is them, walkers, with a seat on them, my dad is 80 years old and
has to use one of them all due to arthritis, plus he had a near-death
experience where a pin came out of this dolly and nearly crushed him
these co-workers grabbed him and pulled him off of this burning steel
he was laid up for quite some time.

Other than those options, I can't think of anything else except to have someone carry you around, like I did with my 2nd girlfriend when she broke her foot back in `83.
My leg was fractured in `84 by a hit & run driver and I didn't like the crutches, either. As I'm 6' 9', even at their highest setting, I still had to stoop over to be able to use them!!

Thank you but, she was scared of the crutches so, what else could I do? Her brand new hubby just left her for incredibly stupid rreasons a week or so before (a month after they got married) and she had no one to help her. I gave up my 8 newspaper routes to live with her until the cast came off so I could take care of her. She was my best friend!

The thing is though, is, walking/standing though... walker is better fit for in areas in my home, than a wheelchair, wheelchair would be better though if i was pushed, cause barely touching my foot and knee is that painful... I know stores sell those skateboard thingies with handle bars, its just i cannot even use those until my knee is better, cause, my knee will be pressed against that part where ya lay your leg and foot.

Am just so glad my friend was right there close by, at that time, he carried me from one end of the house to the other, wow, nice... all the while at same time thinking and said outloud i feel so humuliated... he said nah... dont... even said, something any girl -woman that i am, would love to hear.
