My younger son ended up hating bottles (can’t blame him) and he would hold out for an entire 10 hours while I was at work (plus travel time) just to drink it from the tap.
I hated wasting it so I had my parents send the unconsumed bottle home (they tried. Sometimes he *might* take an oz after 6 hours of trying). Anyway, poured it in a cup, added some 1% and chocolate syrup and fed it to my 4 year old. Anyone else?

@GirlsAskGuys my other post that was removed was NOT a dupe. This one is clearly about not wasting breastmilk the other is about breastmilk as a healthy option for a sick child. Please be more considerate not to remove posts that aren’t dupes.
Moms (or men with ladies in your life), did you ever feed your older children breastmilk?
"Drink it from the tap" Lol. Don't have a lady in my life. Never had a woman with kids in my life romantically. My half-sister... I actually don't know. My oldest niece was already walking when I met her and I don't remember ever seeing my sister breast-feeding (thankfully) so I'm uncertain. Unfortunately I've seen one of her tits (wardrobe malfunction) and I know that it's pierced so I'm going to assume that one wasn't used in suckling.
As for if a woman ever entered my life and had a baby/we had a baby? I've made it clear before that I tend to remain neutral on feminine issues that involve body parts that I don't possess since I lack the feeling to understand them properly from abortion to permanent contraception to menstration and menopause. This is one of those issues. Having said that, while I sit firmly on this fence I will point out that I am a quite happily heterosexual man who enjoys tits and seeing them. So, I can't say I'd complain about breastfeeding. Not can I say I'd oppose breastfeeding my own kid/woman's kid. I'd probably just get hard and have to fuck her afterwards. But tbh I'd probably still be rock hard just from having a woman in my lap let alone touching or making out with me.
Ok. Now it makes sense why GaG deleted it because they probably weren’t allowed to have chocolate milk when they were a kid and now they’re triggered when they see that some children get all the chocolate milk they want. It wasn’t me, though, I had a fear of white sauces and milk was too close to a white sauce. Even chocolate milk was just white sauce in denial so I avoided it too.
Nah but I was trashing a lot of milk since my son never took a bottle. We did breastmilk baths a few times since they have eczema. I thought about selling it too but those people online were way too creepy to meet in person
Trashing breastmilk would have killed me. I had lower supply with my oldest and the mentality of waste nothing persisted for me. Donating over 2000 oz to help 10 babies was very cathartic for me.
I donated to a friend with cancer, a friend who had a traumatic birth, a friend who adopted and 7 friends who just couldn’t quite pump enough for daycare. 🥰
That's very nice of you. I have no idea what my plan is this time around. I'll maybe milk share since donating most likely isn't a option since I don't have a covid vaccine. I know the nicu are specifically wanting milk from moms with the vaccine
That is a really cool solution. We kept breastfeeding our kids so that we would not have to buy those little jars of baby food. They were pretty expensive. There is a new thing in bodybuilding drinking human breast milk. It had amino acids promotes muscle growth or so the story goes. Women are selling it on the internet. I doubt it is pasteurized.
The body builders drinking milk is not a new thing lol I went on some websites to sell my milk about 4-5 years ago and those creeps were the only ones trying to buy it 🙄
When protein is bad for body builders. at least that's what I hear from my husband. There is a reason they do breastmilk cause it avoids hormones and has suagrs the body can digest. It's like a whole thing I'm not too educated on it tho
@Apple1996 My youngest was allergic to dairy products. We got him to drink orange juice with added calcium. It was not easy to get him to drink it. Halloween sucked for him too, he could go out and collect the candy but could not eat most of it. We bought him candy made with carob powder.
Yes Halloween is a struggle. We go to a lot of house to make sure we get more non dairy things and then donate all the chocolate. But I'm a happy about it since I don't want them eating candy anyways

Every mammal has a different structure of milk, chemically speaking, synthetic milks, are all derived from cow milk, but if you have to hand rear a baby koala it would be a different recipe to a baby kangaroo.
According to my religion, a child should stop sucking after 2 years of age. And that's what doctors say. If it doesn't quit after 2 years, it becomes an addiction. Being addicted is a very bad thing.
Child led weaning. My oldest weaned at 3.5 when I was pregnant with his brother. I gently weaned youngest days before he turned 4 because I felt the timing was right.
One would think it would be a no brainer. Some husbands choose to come home and berate their wife for breastfeeding the child too much and it causes lasting damage.
I guess if you put the milk in a bottle it's ok. If you feed an old boy directly from the breast that has complicated psychological consequences that are not good.
Nope. Wrong. My kids came to me. It was never about me. Even when my son was almost four I had to gently wean him to yogurt pouches and he still cried about missing mama milk. Glad we could share this educational moment. ;)
