Why people don't take precautions of covid?

I have seen many people (here also) who think that if they need to wear mask even after getting vaccinated then there is no need to vaccination. Why don't they understand that all the rumors about vaccines are false and it doesn't have any major side effects? Why can't they understand that taking precautions in such situations is very important and it can't be taken for granted only because of likes and dislikes? Are vaccines really dangerous that they can cause serious problems like heart attack or are these just rumors? I have many doubts like this in such topic like sometimes I even doubt are vaccines truly safe because people say it is like taking a life risk while I haven't seen/heard it happening with someone.

Short answer people are stupid. Long answer: Why wear seatbelts if there is a speeding Limit? Why a speeding limit if there is a rule to wear seatbelts? Answer because both help you when there is a car crash. Or even lower the chance to even get into a car crash. Now think about masks as seatbelt and vaccines as speed limits. car crashes are covid.
Covid vaccines are not the most harmless vaccines ever. But I take a low risk of something else, before a quite high risk of something potentially life threatening all the time.

I have no fucking clue how an anti vaccers brain works. But not In logical ways for sure. And if you dont belive in covid for some reason, you ONLY see the bad things about vaccines. I mean if they would bring out a vaccine against the mind controle- waves that 5g antennas spread I wouldn't take it because I dont believe that exist so any harm the vaccine does is more than any benefit it would give me.

Before you get vaccinated you should get an information paper about that vaccine and you still can say no than. That is taken from medical test and case studies. Read it! If you have questions ask your doctor. That is in my opinion what you should trust.

I will answer in parts

Well, there are basically 2 types of vaccines that exist while countering a disease to the level of pandemic.

First type is the type of vaccine which targets the virus itself and blocks it from invading your cells. Meaning if the virus cannot invade your cells, then it cannot multiply itself and if it cannot multiply itself then it cannot infect the cell and hence it cannot cause infection or disease to you so then virus will die out within your body itself. This is of course the best type of vaccine possible and can surely end the pandemic. However, most of the vaccines that exist are not of this type.

Second type of vaccine is disease modifying, symptom modifying type of vaccine. In this type after taking the vaccine what it does is it prepares the body to understand the virus when the real virus attacks the body and to prepare the necessary antibodies. In this type of vaccine an inactivated form of virus may be used which very closely resembles the real virus. Hence when the actual virus may enter then the body will be prepared to fight it off.

In this case, one may still get infected but will only get minor symptoms and recover successfully. There won't be any hospitalizations nor death for that matter.

In my view there are no major side effects. I am fully vaccinated and I never had any side effect.

There will always be some people who will never take vaccines irrespective of the situation.

Vaccines are safe. It is better to get vaccinated and at least be ensure that you will at least have a good level of protection say 80% rather than staying unvaccinated and then exposing yourself to the full force of the virus. Plus there are lots of variants around so getting vaccinated is the best way.

I don't take any special covid precautions. I'm not vaccinated and I don't wear masks and I will not change my mind.

I had covid December 2019. It kicked my butt, I had a lingering cough for like 6wks. My kids bounced back within a week, it took longer for my husband and I but we needed no prescriptions or medical treatment. My immunity lasted over a year and I caught "delta" a few months ago and it was more mild than a cold, my kids didn't even run fevers! For 99% of the population this is the case, we get sick and recover without complication or lasting damage. The 1% who are at risk for death from complications of covid are old and ill and on their way out, morbidly obese, otherwise unhealthy. Healthy, fit, active people don't die from covid. I don't know a single person who's been hospitalized for covid or died of covid, even my 74 year old mom with heart disease recovered just fine with a doctor visit.

Why should we take an experimental vaccine for a disease that doesn't kill healthy people? Any vaccine has risks but the covid vaccines have show to have more side effects and deaths than the other vaccines we routinely accept. Did you know the covid vaccine can impact your menstrual cycle and the "experts" don't understand why? I understand why, it's because we have immune cells in our uterus to protect potential babies, the vaccine activates them. How can these experts have such inferior understanding of endocrinology? They don't know the lasting side effects of the vaccine because it hasn't been out long enough. I'm not willing to take a chance when I am not at risk.

Now I'm not against people choosing to be vaccinated, I think it's wise for the elderly and ill. But as I am healthy and not at risk I will not vaccinate.

Part of it is probably because of mixed/changing messages from government and health officials. I remember like 4 months ago Biden said Americans need to pick the vaccine or wearing masks.
As for weather vaccines are safe or not, it seems as of now, they're fine. I get hesitation, but the virus itself is very dangerous already. If it turns out there is some long term health issue, we'll likely get some kind of fix as so much of world is getting vaccinated.

@Apulu_3 regarding your update, there are countless studies about how safe these vaccines are and a lot of discourse about why one may be hesitant to take them. It's really something you should do more research into and listen to people who are expects at this kinda stuff rather than people on an app. Best thing you can do is to educate yourself on both sides and make an informed choice from there.

To talk on what I've read, (take it with a grain of salt ofc) because you're just 13, it really doesn't matter if you take it or not from what I've read. It's really a big issue for those who are older. Like 30+ I'd say. That's when you're at more risk. Now if you are less likely to carry the virus and potentially infect others (parents, grandparents, those are higher risk) when you're vaccinated seems to be debated.

Hopefully by the time you're like an adult things will be better and more clear, cause I doubt we're just going to end covid any time soon. Feel free to dm if you want to chat more

I don't think there are any risks. If someone wants to wear a mask, don't get vaccinated. If you don't want a mask or a vaccine, don't get it. My family hadn't worn a mask the whole pandemic or gotten the vaccine and hasn't gotten sick, so there's barely, if any, risks whether you get the vaccine or not.

covid is not a virus worthy of the hype. This whole thing has been blown way out of proportion. The people I know who got it are totally fine, it was a bad flu. Being healthy is the best defence, that means diet and exercise. I know people who’ve been vaccinated that have literally been coughing their lungs out for months now. The vaccine has been linked to myocarditis and although you’ll see that link downplayed across big pharma funded media, it is quite substantial. I know people who’ve had heart pains after the shot and they aren’t even given an exemption.

Me and my family have remained unvaxxed and are totally fine. I’m staying that way and anyone who thinks that me, an asymptomatic healthy person needs to wear a mask or take a shot to be in public places has had their mind FUCKED by the media. Can we please get back to common sense? If you’re sick, stay home, if not, GO OUT IT’S LITERALLY 100% safe
