He told me my diet should be on protein base. Thoughts
He wants you to build muscle because that's his job(he's not a nutritionist) get a nutritionist and they will educate you on meal plans to loose weight. I recommend starting with a fast(juice fast or water fast) to shrink your stomach and detox your body, then eat a diet mainly consisting of fresh fruits and veggies, and a little bit of nuts and seeds. Eat lean meats like, chicken and fish. With eating a pure and healthy diet you will have natural energy and will want to workout! during your detox, your body will hurt, but really it is becoming AWARE, after years and years of numbing physical pain with unhealthy food, naturally you will want to stretch out sore muscles, and you will have the energy to go for walks and dance and run and PLAY:) I think that is an amazing workout, you don't need to shut off your brain and run on a treadmill like a mule, enjoy working out and being active.. fly a kite, get outside, whenever you can, everything else your life can wait, your #1 priority is loosing weight and being strong and healthy, do it now, good luck:)
Thanks...I am try to lose 20 pounds in 7 weeks...Well, close even if it 17. I will try what you said but I really want a tone body. I just don't wanna lose weight
yoga will tone you, any exercise really, if you keep it up long enough, always alternative, so you won't work out one area too much and will be toned all over. And 20 in 7 weeks should be no problem(if you really work at it will be gone in a month) I also recommend committing to a routine like a mile walk every morning or in the evening, so no matter how sore/tired you will still be committed to something and getting outside(it's a great time to reflect and relax.Have fun, I know you can do it!
Thanks! I hope so!
alright I'll give you some valuable weight loss tips as I have taken Nutrition in Culinary school:
- replace all sugary drinks including fruit juice with water and drink at least 8 glasses it should decrease your appetite.
- if you are eating a protein based diet you have to work out constantly if not it turns in to fat. So only eat 4-5 ounces of meat, preferably lean protein.
- increase your intake of fruits and vegetables
- eat yogurt it has yeast which helps cut body fat
- eat more whole grains they help your digestive system out.
I hope that works cause you have to realize you need to keep a good diet too. You should be able to do it as long as you keep the hard work up. However if you are very desperate try the lemonade diet. It's not necessarily healthy but it works.
The standard weight loss rate would be 1 pound per week, which is exactly what he told you (there are 52 weeks in a year).
But afaik you can lose as much as 2 pounds per week without putting your health in serious danger. Which means 33 weeks or 8 months in your case. You can search the web for more info on how to do it. But If you try to lose weight faster it can cause other health problems.
I understand but I don't think that is extreme to lose at 40 pounds by Nov/Dec. That is about 10 pounds a month. I l know people who loese 40 pounds in 2-3 months. I just have to keep the weight of just like White Fresh Prince said...lol
You can lose it faster than 10-15 months, but you will have to work your ass off, and have a strict diet. It would not be fun.
Literally work you ass off lol
He said if I want to keep the weight off. It should take that long 10-15 months. But losing it in 5 to 6 months sounds reasonable to me?
Well you could keep the weight off if you did it faster, but you would still have to work out and eat good after it was off...Just not as hardcore.
So you think I can lose 40 pounds by November?
Probably.
I am! lol
Hell Yeah you are! I believe in you.
thanks
