Get one of those meal replacement bars. They have some that are around 400 calories and a solid amount of protein. They typically have flavors other than chocolate. Also, maybe beef jerky?

These are some relatively cheap snack I usually have when trying it be healthy also gaining muscle:
Snack 1:
rice cakes with peanut butter, bananas and cinnamon on top
Snack 2:
A little bit of oats mixed with unsweetened cocoa powder, dark choc, berries and add protein powder if you wish (this is a more filling snack can also be a meal)Whole Scottish oats. I prefer to drink them ultra fine and raw though. Great for my training. But I never get bored of what I eat.
Nuts are very high on calories.
Oatmeal cream pie. They have a ton of calories.
Beef Jerky?
