Yes. Very scary that i hate to talk about it. Long story short this was in 2018. At one point it cuddled me from behind but from on top of the covers and i could feel the blanket tighten around me. On another day it parted my legs and i tried to close them but they were legit forced open. I was basically dryhumped. It was Extremely scary, felt rapey and it happened 2-3 times after allowing someone to sleepover a my home some weeks before. My eyes were open the whole time and i wasn't dreaming. So now i’m very careful with who i let in my house because I don't know if they’re walking around with evil spirits attached to them
I don't know if you ever seen the novie Shutter but that mf had a ghost attached to him the whole time and always wondered why he had neck pain

I get this all the time i don't know why i remember the first time i got it i was 19, watching scary stuff online on this horror website about spirits and i think one of the videos were super real. Cause i was really into ghost and spirits at that time. Then i got it but in the house all lights were on, but when i woke up it was dark and then i got it twice at the new place i moved too.
Then when i got a job at a car junkyard doing security i would fall asleep there my night shift cause it was boring and nobody ever checks on you, i would get them almost everyday & when i went home and sllept same thing which people claimed it was haunted, once i left that job it became rare and ever since then i get them like 3-5 times a year. But im not sure what triggers it but figured out how to wake myself up when they happen.
I have had it happen a few times. The first time it happened, I was probably about 22. I was somewhat waking up, but I could NOT move at all. It was definitely a feeling of being paralyzed. I've had it happen a few times since. It can be a bit freaky.
Many times
It happens when I sleep on my back
First time it happened I remember it very well I remember I wanted to move my arm at first and I couldn’t. Then I wanted to open my eyes and I couldn’t they were glued !!
didn’t see any shadow as others saw.
It was just dark for me , it was just me and my thoughts.
I don't know why but to me it was interesting I wasn’t scared.
It was interesting how I was able to talk to myself and relax myself, saying it’s ok it will go back to normal soon and I would fall asleep.
When it happens I just relaxed and go “ back “ to sleep. It works.
During a sleep paralysis you can’t simply wait for your eye to open and wake up just like a boss
most likely your body goes back to sleep and when you wake up you remember it.

I've experienced it three times in the same year (when I was 20-21 years old) during a very stressful time of my life.
All of the sleep paralysis visions were the same. There would be a squiggly black mass (which reminded me of scribblings or the metal scrubbers used to clean pots and pans) that started as a dot, then gradually grew into a tarantula-shaped thing.
The other vision was a black faceless man or child who rose from the side of my bed, right to my face, it would just stare at me without any eyes.
A different shadowy figure either leaned over me if I were facing the ceiling, or the figure was standing by the window, with the light from outside shining on it.
I remembered how stiff my body and lips were. I couldn't say anything, let alone scream. All I could do was whimper, I remember whimpering...
The only part of me I could move was my eyes (I can't remember if I blinked or not).I have chronic SP can happen to me sometimes 2-3 times a night. I have sleep apnea ( which is thought to be a major cause of it ) it has been going on since I was a teen and used to think our house was haunted with a very touchy feely ghost... it happens so often now that I have learned to not panic and start freaking out while it is happening.
Yes, it occurred a handful of times when I experimented with lucid dreaming (gaining awareness in a dream and learn to control it). Got caught in that stage between being awake and dreaming I guess. I had read about it before it happened so did not scare me too much, though still shook me in the moment and was very uncomfortable.
Yes, a few times. It was usually when I was sleeping on my stomach and I groggily came to a little bit and I really had to think hard and put some "ummph" into moving and getting off of my stomach.
Had once back in 2017. Saw a dark disgusting shadow figure that looked like Venom without the teeth hanging over me.
I knew it was a demon and looked at me with extreme intense hatred but didn't say nothing as he was trying to pull out all my life energy from my body that I may die.
I couldn't move worth a lick except my eyes, asking Jesus to save me with words barely coming out my mouth.
Horrible experience.Yes it used to happen to me a lot. Mainly when I slept on my back. Always felt like something was sitting on my chest. You can’t move your arms. Try calling for help but when I asked about it people who were there said they just heard me moaning, moving around that it freaked them out. I said that was me trying to call your name for help. It was freaky as phuk when I was you her but as I got older I always said I’d know what to do next time I’m my dream if it happened again.
In our folk belief, if you leave a crumb of bread or food where you sleep, the night bogeys will come and suffocate you. You want to shout, you can't scream, you can't move, they give you nightmares, so we don't leave any bread crumbs where we sleep. I haven't experienced it, but I have friends who do.
Yes, I have experienced sleep paralyis a few times in my life. It is quite terrifying. It happened more when I was a child but it does happen every so often to me. It has been a long while since it has happened though, thank God!
Once or twice. No no scary monster or anything like that, but yep couldn't move, one time had trouble breathing for some reason, I just woke myself up as usual when I'm lucid dreaming and need to wake up.
We all naturally release chemicals to stop us from acting out our dreams. If startled awake you can feel this sensation before it’s released.
nope... just a severe case of lazy AF in the morning... and could not move one bit, sometimes
The weird part is I know that I'm having it and I keep telling myself to scream you can do it and I always telling myself it's sleep paralysis don't let that force or them. Whoever they are. hold you back scream LOL
It used to happen a lot during my adolescence but once I hit 18 I have yet to experience it again.
I had a dream that I had sleep paralysis. A dream within a dream with the condition. Weird
It happened with me and I was on the Laptop and woke up half awake, half asleep, and couldn't respond to anyone on this one website.
To this day I have not had sleep paralysis, touch wood 🤚🪵
Nope. My girl has though, and it fucks her up each time.
It happens a lot. Usually when I take naps during the day though. It's terrifying and you really do hear things. I can't speak either 😭
It has happened a few times in my life. The first time it was terrifying it scared the life out of me.
Twice. The first time was freaky. But since I had experienced it before the second time was just annoying. Never had it since though.
